Launch at the AI Impact Summit | 16-20 February, 2026
India's healthcare diversity demands context-specific AI validation. With varying languages, disease patterns, and care delivery models across states, national coordination ensures AI tools are tested for local relevance, clinical accuracy, and equitable performance before deployment. PrAImaan — from pramaan, meaning “proof” — builds a trusted national framework for transparent, participatory, and evidence-based evaluation.
PrAImaan’s six core objectives establish a trusted system for health AI in India — one that scientifically validates models, ensures contextual adaptation, embeds ethical governance, and drives continuous real‑world improvement.
Establish a nationally coordinated yet state-inclusive authority to oversee health-AI validation across India.
Define technical, ethical, and contextual benchmarks across languages, specialties, and care levels.
Continuously map emerging AI models, datasets, and infrastructure to guide national planning and oversight.
Operate the MOOVE platform for secure model submission, automated testing, and expert review.
Conduct multilingual, clinician-led benchmarking campaigns (valiDATAthons) to assess safety and relevance.
Enable clinical pilots and continuous monitoring to ensure safe, evidence-based AI deployment.
